Hi everyone, this is Katherine, Kyles mom. We wanted to share with y’all that with the good lord’s help Kyle’s dad and I are going to continue keeping Kyle’s dream alive here at City Green. This company and customers were Kyle’s passion. This was not work to him, it was enjoyment. 

The customers here are so awesome and a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much for all the beautiful cards and letters that were sent, it was so nice to read all the nice thoughtful words on how loved he was.

Kyle has always had a fascination with pest control. After working with many other companies, he knew that he could do a more thorough job with better quality products to grow a happy, successful business. He started City Green in 2015 with so much excitement, it made my heart smile.  We were so proud of him. 

We believe that customer service is number 1 in a business relationship. The golden rule is what we as a family have always lived by, and Kyle continued with this in all his life and business decisions. I wanted to share this with all of you who knew Kyle because all these memories are so precious to me.  

Kyle called me the later part of 2019 and asked me to come help him out — that the business was getting too large to handle without some help. Of course, we moved here.  I was so excited to help and spend time with my son. It was such a blessing and an honor to work alongside of such a great man.  He had so many great qualities Just like his dad. Kyle has been trying to get his entire family to move to Florida, so we could all be close. He finally talked his sister Sharie into transferring her business here from Jacksonville, and his oldest sister Sabrina soon followed. We are all here now, thanks to my sweet boy and his huge heart.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you and smile knowing that I will see you again someday in glory. I love you Kyle.

Kyle was a great person and he cared about the business and his customers. The last time he was at our home to take care of an issue with bugs we talked about the shutdown. One of the things he said he missed was having a sitdown breakfast with you at a restaurant. He said take out would not be the same. I know he will be missed by everyone he ever touched. Dear Kathy: Today I learned of Kyle’s passing. I am still shocked and heartbroken. Just last Friday I dialed his number to talk to him about our yard, but then decided to call the office and leave a message instead. I did not know he was no longer with us, as I had not read any of the emails from City Green for almost a month. I wanted to write you to tell you how very sorry I am that he passed. He was an extraordinary young man, one, that I am sure, left an impression on everyone he met. I only spoke to him a handful of times in the year I have been with City Green, but I enjoyed every one of those conversations. Kyle was special, honest, patient, and so kind. He always answered all of my questions with joy and had so much knowledge about his business. He for sure left an impression on me, as I admired him for the amazing young man he was. I know you were really proud of him because we talked about it in more than one occasion and I cannot begin to imagine the sorrow of losing him. Please know that you, your family, and specially Kyle’s little girl are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you can find peace in knowing that he truly made this world better because he was in it. I am sure his legacy will live on through everyone that loved him. Sending you and the City Green Family our love and prayers.

I am writing because I just heard of Kyle’s sudden death and needed you to know how wonderful he has been to me, especially since my late husband passed at the end of 2018. Kyle was one of the most kind, patient, knowledgeable and professional young men I have ever met. He never failed to return my calls or texts and was right here when I needed his help or advice for issues large or small, and he could always make me smile. I will miss that so much. I hope to continue as a City Green FL customer going forward. His staff have always shown a level of care and respect for my property...evidence that he trained them well. Hopefully in your time of sorrow, this will help you all. One of Kyle’s legacies that will live on, is that when I go out to mow my yard; which I do myself. He will live on in my mind and heart, when I walk on the beautiful lawn that he gave me!
